Assistant Atelier Manager

At Frites Atelier, we’re looking for a proactive Assistant Atelier Manager to support the daily operations for our location in Ghent. You’ll be part of a team serving the best Frites in the world, crafted by three-Michelin-starred chef Sergio Herman. As Assistant Atelier Manager, you’ll manage the daily operations, inspire your team, and ensure every guest leaves with an unforgettable experience. You report to the Atelier Manager, who holds final responsibility for the location and team.
Your Responsibilities:
- Support and co-lead daily operations of the Atelier, bringing structure, energy, and precision
- Supervise your team across all areas, from kitchen to counter to terrace, setting the example
- Monitor quality and execution, adjusting where needed to maintain excellence
- Observe team performance and align with the Atelier Manager on plan of action to improve
- Ensure the Atelier reflects the high standards of Frites Atelier Amsterdam, impeccable food, hospitality, and cleanliness
- Foster a positive team culture built oncollaboration, motivation, and shared goals
- Step into the leading role during the Atelier Manager’s absence, ensuring continuity and consistency
Who Are You:
- You have strong affinity with the hospitalityindustry
- You have experience with coordinating team
- You’ve got a hands-on mentality, are amultitasker, and thrive under pressure, especially during peak hours
- You bring positivity, structure, and amotivating presence to the team
- You’re confident taking responsibility when circumstancesrequire it
- You are fluent in Dutch and English. Basic understanding of French and Spanish is a plus
